Wagheshwar Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the Wagholi area of Pune, Maharashtra, India. The temple is believed to be very old, with some legends suggesting it was built by the Pandavas during their exile.
The temple is built from black basalt and features intricate carvings of Hindu gods and goddesses on its walls. The main deity, Lord Shiva, is enshrined in a sanctum sanctorum within the temple. There is also a large Nandi statue, the bull vehicle of Lord Shiva, placed in front of the main deity.
